On July 31, 2022, St. John’s Church of Antioch in Las Cruces, New Mexico celebrated her ten-year anniversary. Fr. Ron and his wife Noreen filled a time capsule with remembrances of the beginnings of the parish.

Fr. Ron was surprised during the service when CCOA Presiding Bishop Mark elevated him to the dignity of Archpriest. People addressing him will still use “Fr. Ron”; however, his honorific will now be The Very Rev. Ron.

Bishop Michael was also surprised when Bishop Linda, Dean Emerita of Sophia Divinity School, awarded him with a Doctor of Divinity degree.
