Last Sunday was the first Sunday of Advent, a season that can be difficult for us. We are surrounded by bright lights, Christmas trees, decorations, Santas, and a loud hustle and bustle. And yet, Advent is the season of quiet, reflection and even darkness. Advent marks the beginning of the new church year, so, Happy New Year! What do you need to do – personally and with others – to make the coming year a truly spiritual experience?
